About The Role
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping students manage emotions, behaviour and social interactions, building positive trusting relationships, assisting with class‑based learning activities and reinforcing targets from Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff to provide consistent, structured support.

Previous experience is not required. Beneficial backgrounds include: youth work or mentoring, mental health or social care, behavioural support roles, security, armed forces or public service roles, and working with vulnerable or at‑risk individuals.

Daily rate: £90, including holiday pay. Pay is processed via PAYE payroll with no hidden fees.
DBS: A non‑voluntary enhanced DBS on the update service is required. If absent we will process a new DBS at £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work.
Vetting: All staff must undergo reference checks, TRA checks, and a DBS. A face‑to‑face interview is required.
