Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs in their earliest years? We are seeking a dedicated and caring SENDCo to join a warm and nurturing Early Years setting in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced SENDCo or someone with a strong Early Years background who is eager to develop into the role with full support and training.

The Role

  • Identifying and supporting children with additional needs
  • Developing and implementing individual support plans
  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside agencies
  • Supporting staff with strategies to promote inclusion and positive outcomes
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring best practice in SEND provision

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced as a SENDCo or keen to train and develop into the role
  • Experienced within an Early Years (EYFS) setting
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about SEND processes and strategies
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships
  • Calm, patient, and committed to inclusive practice

Essential / Desirable

  • Early Years Level 3 qualification (ideal)
  • Previous SEND experience (preferred but not essential)
