We are seeking a dedicated and caring SENDCo to join a warm and nurturing Early Years setting in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced SENDCo or someone with a strong Early Years background who is eager to develop into the role with full support and training.

The Role

As SENDCo, you will play a key role in ensuring all children receive the support they need to thrive. You will work closely with practitioners, parents, and external professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and supporting children with additional needs
  • Developing and implementing individual support plans
  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside agencies
  • Supporting staff with strategies to promote inclusion and positive outcomes
  • Monitoring progress and ensuring best practice in SEND provision

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced as a SENDCo or keen to train and develop into the role
  • Experienced within an Early Years (EYFS) setting
  • Passionate about supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about SEND processes and strategies
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships
  • Calm, patient, and committed to inclusive practice

Essential / Desirable

  • Early Years Level 3 qualification (ideal)
  • Previous SEND experience (preferred but not essential)
