We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery based in Bristol, dedicated to providing high‑quality early years education and care for children aged 0–5 years. The nursery offers a calm, stimulating environment inspired by play‑based, child‑led learning principles, with bright, well‑resourced indoor rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces. Children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and grow at their own pace in a warm, inclusive atmosphere that fosters strong relationships between staff, children, and families.

Role

We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join this dedicated and passionate team. You will help deliver inspiring learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
  • Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to individual learning journals
  • Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing are always prioritised
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children with additional needs where appropriate

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0–5 years
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge or experience supporting children with SEND

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
  • Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
  • Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one. If you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of ÂŁ62.70, which will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
