Role Overview

Level 2 & Level 3 Early Years Practitioners will support children in nurseries and early years settings across Bristol and Bath. This role involves delivering EYFS‑aligned activities, creating a safe and inclusive environment, and working closely with staff, parents and children.

Responsibilities

  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Support children’s social, emotional and physical development

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to create a nurturing and engaging environment for young children
  • Previous nursery or early years experience preferred

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship or Skilled Worker visas
  • Provide two recent references
  • Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one (cost of £62.70 will be refunded after 20 days of work)
