About The Role

As a Teacher at Park House School, you will deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse and individual needs of our learners.

You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop essential skills, and re-engage with education.

This role involves working with pupils who may not thrive in mainstream settings and require a flexible, creative, and therapeutic approach to learning .

You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons, tracking progress, and supporting each pupil’s unique journey.

26 pupils aged 8–19 . We provide a therapeutic-based learning environment for young people with complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs .

Our approach focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and structured setting where every pupil feels valued, understood, and supported to achieve their potential.

Our Approach

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths and/or Science
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A flexible, child-centred approach to teaching
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK

Experience in specialist or alternative provision is desirable, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs .
