About the Role

We are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to work in our North service, based in our Doncaster office, to support carers in Lincolnshire, specifically Skegness.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some work completed from home, fact‑to‑face meetings with foster carers in Skegness and some work in the office in Doncaster.

You would join a thriving and growing community of foster carers and a team of staff with a strong, welcoming, and child‑centred ethos.

Five Rivers works from a Trauma‑informed (ATIC) model, integrating our fostering, residential, clinical, and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

Teams are supported by a psychologist and a therapeutic practitioner, who are also foster support workers and business support coordinators.

This, alongside manageable workloads, means social workers have the time and resources they need to provide high‑quality support to their foster families.

You will directly support our foster carers with realistic caseloads, which enables a higher level of supervision, monitoring, and intervention.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be working within a trauma‑informed practice model that is continually evolving; you will support recruitment events and complete Form F Assessments.

A Supervising Social Worker needs to be a team player and want to achieve the best possible outcome for all our foster carers and children.

You will need to be registered with Social Work England and have a formal social work qualification.

The role also requires you to have access to a car for completing visits and the right to work in the UK.

What We Offer

  • Professional social work supervision provided by a manager.
  • Group Clinical supervision provided by a qualified psychologist/clinician.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays each year
  • Access to high‑quality training & career progression opportunities
  • Market‑related salary plus on‑call allowance plus car allowance
  • Pension scheme and access to employee assistance program
  • Enhanced Maternity leave package for mothers who have been with us for over one year.

Five Rivers Childcare is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children and Young People.

Applicants must be willing to undergo appropriate child protection screening, including employment references and DBS checks.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
