- Senior Support Workers for our new supported accommodation home in
Plymouth, Devon , supporting young people aged 16+ as they transition toward independent living.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in guiding and teaching young people essential life skills, helping them prepare for independence, and supporting them with day-to-day tasks, schoolwork, and college engagement.
Our young people may have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma, and you will use our embedded trauma-informed practices to provide consistent, compassionate support.
The successful candidate must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or an equivalent qualification.

Senior Support Workers who can provide stability and build genuine rapport.
You will be empathetic, grounded, and resilient, enabling you to support both the young people and your wider team.
What is Required?
- You will work an average of 39 hours per week.
- You must be able to commit to 2-3 sleep-ins per week, paid at an additional £50 per sleep in.
- The standard shift pattern is two-on, four-off.
- During your initial training period, you will work Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, and may be required to travel.
- Lone working with young people will be expected within this home.
- A full driver's licence is essential.
- Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or an equivalent qualification.
