Field Gate School is growing, and we are excited to be expanding our teaching team in Doncaster. We are looking for an experienced English Teacher who is passionate about supporting children and young people aged 6–18. You will be joining a dedicated and experienced team within a school culture where children are respected, listened to, and actively involved in their learning journey. Our young people deserve stability, empathy, and educators who believe in them.
As a Teacher with Five Rivers Child Care, each day will be varied, rewarding, and meaningful. You will deliver learning through a flexible teaching model, using bespoke therapeutic and educational frameworks tailored to each individual student. Lessons may take place in the classroom or within the community to support children unable to attend regular school settings. We follow a Trauma-Informed Practice Model, and our schools have proudly achieved the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Gold Award—reflecting our commitment to nurturing, supportive education.

Requirements:
- NQTS or QTS registration
- Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (preferred)
- Valid UK driving licence (for community-based teaching)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Strong written and IT skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and external agencies
- A genuine passion for working within specialist or trauma-informed education
