We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major social housing refurbishment and property improvement programme in the GL15 5NF area. The programme includes a broad range of planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit works, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and general property repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of works on site.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
- Manage programme, quality, health & safety and overall site performance.
- Oversee works including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and property repairs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works meet required quality standards.
- Ensure all health & safety procedures and site requirements are fully adhered to.
- Monitor progress against programme and proactively address delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation.
- Liaise with residents, client representatives, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Ensure sites are maintained in a safe, clean and organised condition.
- Provide leadership and support to the wider site team.

About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing, refurbishment, planned maintenance or property repairs.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Experience delivering works within occupied social housing environments.
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety and site management procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage programmes, quality, resources and competing priorities.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering projects to a high standard.
