Full Time We are recruiting for an experienced
Assistant Site Manager
to support the delivery of a major social housing refurbishment and property improvement programme in the
GL15 5NF
area.
The works will cover a range of planned maintenance and retrofit projects, including
kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and general property repairs .
Key Responsibilities Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site and delivery of works.
Assist in coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
Monitor progress, quality and workmanship across the programme.
Support the delivery of kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and property repairs.
Carry out regular site inspections and ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard.
Assist with maintaining site records, reports and health & safety documentation.
Liaise with residents, contractors, client representatives and other stakeholders.
Help monitor programmes, identify issues and ensure works remain on schedule.
Ensure site health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.
Essential Qualifications Candidates
must hold : CSCS Card SMSTS First Aid Fire Marshall Asbestos Awareness About You Previous experience as an
Assistant Site Manager , Site Supervisor or similar construction role.
Experience within
social housing, refurbishment, planned maintenance or property repairs .
Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
Good understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively alongside the Site Manager and wider project team.
Experience working within occupied social housing environments is highly desirable.
