We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major social housing refurbishment and property improvement programme in the GL15 5NF area. The works will cover a range of planned maintenance and retrofit projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and general property repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site and delivery of works.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Monitor progress, quality and workmanship across the programme.
- Support the delivery of kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, PV, IWI, EWI and property repairs.
- Carry out regular site inspections and ensure works are completed safely and to the required standard.
- Assist with maintaining site records, reports and health & safety documentation.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, client representatives and other stakeholders.
- Help monitor programmes, identify issues and ensure works remain on schedule.
- Ensure site health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar construction role.
- Experience within social housing, refurbishment, planned maintenance or property repairs.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Good understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively alongside the Site Manager and wider project team.
- Experience working within occupied social housing environments is highly desirable.
