Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel and Cattery Assistant Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
Living on-site in self-contained accommodation supplied at nominal rent
Supporting part-time with the management of the site outside normal working hours
Assist with the daily care of animals in the kennel and cattery facilities
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules and specific instructions
- Clean and sanitize kennels and cat pens, and animal holding areas
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to senior staff
- Assist with administering medications as directed by senior staff
- Interact with pet owners, as necessary, and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Experience in handling dogs and/or cats
Experience in handling responsibility
Passion for working with animals and providing compassionate care
Ability to perform lifting as needed
Prior experience in customer service is a plus
