Burgers & Fries and Incredible Careers

We're the burger restaurant with the uncomplicated formula: burgers and fries cooked to perfection, with no frozen ingredients.

We've stuck to the same "perfect and serve" philosophy since our family business began in 1986.

Today, we're still every bit the family business we started as.

We're passionate about what we do, act with integrity, thrive on healthy competition, and always find a way to get the job done, whatever the challenge.

The Role

We're looking for a creative and culturally connected Social & Content Executive to help bring the Five Guys brand to life across our social channels.

Reporting to the Senior Partnerships & Activation Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering engaging social media content, supporting influencer campaigns and helping drive brand engagement across multiple platforms.

You'll own the day-to-day management of our organic social channels while working closely with internal teams, agency partners and content creators to deliver standout social-first content.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands emerging trends and enjoys creating content that connects with audiences.

You'll have the chance to work on everything from influencer activations and campaign launches to photoshoots, community management and paid social support.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing the day-to-day execution of our organic social media channels, including Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.
  • Planning, scheduling and publishing content aligned to brand campaigns and the social content calendar.
  • Creating and adapting content for different platforms, ensuring it feels native and relevant to each audience.
  • Monitoring social performance and identifying opportunities to improve engagement, reach and audience growth.
  • Staying on top of social trends, cultural moments and emerging content opportunities.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of photoshoots and video shoots.
  • Capturing and creating social-first content, including behind-the-scenes and reactive content.
  • Managing and maintaining the content library to ensure assets are organised and easily accessible.
  • Supporting influencer and creator campaigns from briefing and outreach through to reporting and evaluation.
  • Assisting with paid social campaigns through asset creation, copywriting, reporting and campaign support.
  • Managing community engagement across social channels, including comments, conversations and direct messages.
  • Working with teams across the UK and European markets to share content, best practices and marketing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing social media channels for a brand or agency.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and audience behaviour, particularly across Tik Tok and Instagram.
  • Experience planning, publishing and optimising social content.
  • Understanding of social content creation and platform-specific best practice.
  • Working knowledge of paid social platforms such as Meta and Tik Tok Ads Manager.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, creative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for social media, culture, content and storytelling.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting influencer or creator campaigns.
  • Experience creating social-first content, photography or video assets.
  • Understanding of paid social campaign structures and performance metrics.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, QSR or other consumer-facing brands.
  • Experience working with agencies, creators and external partners.
  • Knowledge of content management and social scheduling tools.

  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance
  • Employee assistance programme
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
