In every restaurant, you'll find talented Shift Managers and you will be responsible for supporting the General and Assistant Managers to ensure that every shift is run to Five Guys standards and that every customer leaves the restaurant feeling better than when they arrived. AS A SHIFT MANAGER, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Our people - Leading from the front and being hands-on, working on the line and on the dining area
- Supporting the General Manager in the delivery of perfect burgers and fries while providing an above & beyond experience for your team and customers
- Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our Values - Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done and Integrity
- Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience - You will deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way
- You will ensure that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of your shift management
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 1 year of management experience in a similar role within a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment. You know what it takes to run a busy shift and keep the energy high
- Customer Satisfaction: You are obsessed with the guest experience and have the numbers to prove it. You have a track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
- Financial Responsibility: You understand the basics of running a profitable shift, managing crew breaks, minimising food waste, and deploying the team effectively during the rush
- Leadership Skills: You are a natural motivator who enjoys being hands-on. You lead by example and know how to get the best out of the Crew during a busy service
- Operational Excellence: You have a good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards and know how to enforce them on the line
- Flexibility: You are available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
