Responsibilities
- Work with the General Manager to share responsibility for the restaurant’s results.
- Lead, inspire, and coach teams to ensure profitability and optimise all sales opportunities while delivering an excellent level of customer service.
- Demonstrate leadership, coaching, and direction while bringing our values to life for the team and customers.
- Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers & fries, store results and providing an "above & beyond" experience for the team and customers.
- Create an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our values – Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, and Integrity.
- Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience; deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way.
- Ensure that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of shift management, thinking about long‑term plans.
- Have full ownership of P&L, driving sales while controlling costs.
- Spot potential and develop a strong talent pipeline.
Qualifications
- At least 1‑2 years of management experience in a similar role within a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment.
- Obsessed with the guest experience, with a proven track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews.
- Experience assisting with P&L management, controlling labour costs, and managing inventory/waste to hit profitability targets.
- Proven track record of leading, coaching, and motivating a team. Develop people and identify future talent.
- Solid understanding of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety regulations, and maintaining 5‑star hygiene ratings.
