Responsibilities
- Work with the General Manager to share responsibility for the success of the restaurant.
- Lead, inspire and coach the teams to ensure the restaurant delivers profitability and optimises all sales opportunities while providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Demonstrate leadership, coaching and direction, bringing our values to life for their team and our customers.
- Lead from the front, are hands-on on the line and in the dining area.
- Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers & fries and store results.
- Provide an "above & beyond" experience for both team and customers.

- Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience.
- Deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way.
- Ensure each shift runs smoothly while embedding our values into shift management and long-term planning.
- Have full ownership of the P&L, driving sales while controlling costs.
- Spot potential, develop their team, and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
- Track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews.
- Experience with P&L management, controlling labour costs, and managing inventory/waste to hit profitability targets.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate a team; develops people and identifies future talent.
- Solid understanding of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety regulations, and maintaining 5-star hygiene ratings.
- Ambition to grow, with the ability to eventually move into Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Area Trainer, District Manager or a role in the Support Office.
