Responsibilities
- Lead from the front, working on the line and in the dining area.
- Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries while providing an above-and-beyond experience for your team and customers.
- Create an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun, while leading with our values – Competitive, Enthusiastic, Family, Get It Done, and Integrity.
- Ensure every customer is delighted with their order and the Five Guys experience; handle complaints promptly, openly, and honestly.
- Ensure each shift runs smoothly and that our values form part of shift management.
What you bring to the table
- Experience: Ideally, at least 1 year of management experience in a similar role within a high‑volume hospitality or QSR environment.
- Customer Satisfaction: Obsession with the guest experience and a track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews.
- Financial Responsibility: Understanding of the basics of running a profitable shift, managing crew breaks, minimising food waste, and deploying the team effectively during the rush.
- Leadership Skills: A natural motivator who enjoys being hands‑on, leads by example, and knows how to get the best out of the crew during a busy service.
- Operational Excellence: A good working knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards and the ability to enforce them on the line.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
