In every store, there is a talented Five Guys General Manager who manages, controls and is accountable for the store's day-to-day operations and results.
This includes: leading, inspiring and coaching the teams to ensure the restaurant delivers profitability, and optimises all sales opportunities while delivering an excellent level of customer service. Our General Managers are our brand ambassadors; they ensure we deliver an excellent level of customer service while demonstrating leadership, coaching and direction.

- Your people - Being accountable and responsible for your entire store and people within, leading from the front and being hands-on, working on the line and in the dining area
- Developing and managing the team, while supporting the delivery of perfect burgers and fries - jumping in and working on the line shoulder to shoulder with our Crew and Managers
- Your store will need to run smoothly on the day-to-day operations and think about long-term planning. Spotting potential and developing your team to ensure there is a strong talent pipeline
- Responsible for managing any HR issues while also being able to reward and recognise when needed
- Experience: You have a minimum of 2+ years of General Management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
- Financial Expertise: You have full P&L ownership. You are an expert at driving top-line sales, managing complex budgets, and controlling costs (Labour/COGS) to maximise GP without compromising on quality.
- You have a history of developing managers, planning succession, and creating a strong talent pipeline.
- You have total command of Food Safety, Health & Safety compliance, and maintaining 5-star hygiene ratings across the business.
