Five Education is looking for an experienced SEND Teacher for students with a range of additional needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and specific learning disabilities (SLD). The school is based in Yeovil. The successful candidate will have previous SEN teaching experience and a developed understanding of teaching methods that support students with complex learning needs.
You will be eager to develop your pedagogy by learning more about PMLD and specific learning disabilities. Teaching materials and resources are provided, and the school encourages individuality, so you may adapt learning materials to make your lessons outstanding. The school has a supportive staff cohort and good facilities, and fosters ambition, inclusion, and achievement within every person in the school. The successful candidate will benefit from a pay rate dependent on experience.

Qualifications:
- Previous classroom teaching experience.
- Right to work in the UK – no sponsorship or Skilled Worker visa.
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
If you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70, which will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Pay and Conditions:
Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or the employer's NI. Please note the pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
