Five Education is currently supporting a range of specialist provisions and SEND schools that welcome enthusiastic, compassionate Early Career Teachers to join their teams. This is an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful experience in specialist settings with ongoing support and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Teaching pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, SEMH, SLD, and PMLD
- Delivering adapted and engaging lessons to meet individual needs
- Working alongside experienced support staff, therapists, and senior leaders
- Building strong relationships with pupils and supporting their emotional and academic development
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications
- QTS
- A genuine interest in SEND education
- Positive, flexible and patient approach to teaching
- Willingness to adapt lessons and approaches to meet a range of complex needs
- Some relevant SEND experience (from placements, volunteering or previous work) is highly desirable

Pay
Five Education operates a PAYE payroll - the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin charges or employer's NI. Please note, pay rate is illustrative and includes holiday pay.
Vetting
Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will undergo checks including reference and TRA checks. If you do not have a non-voluntary enhanced DBS on the update service, a new DBS will need to be processed at a cost of Β£62.70, refunded after 20 days of work and once registered to the update service.
