We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery based in Bristol, dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0-5 years. Overview
The Role
We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join this dedicated and passionate team. You will help deliver inspiring learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about early years education and enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive, community-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Observe and record children's progress, contributing to individual learning journals
- Ensure children's safety and wellbeing are always prioritised
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children with additional needs where appropriate
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years
- Sound understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and professional approach
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge or experience supporting children with SEND
Essential requirements
- Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo checks including reference checks, TRA checks and will need to have a DBS; there will also be an interview.
