We are working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery based in Chippenham, dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for children aged 0-5 years. The Role

We are seeking a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join this dedicated and passionate team. You will help deliver inspiring learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and independence in every child. Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Ensure children's safety and wellbeing are always prioritised
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support children with additional needs where appropriate

Essential Criteria

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge or experience supporting children with SEND

Essential requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
  • Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
  • Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one*

*Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of Β£62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
