We are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Arabic to provide individual support to a student within the classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and support staff to help the student access learning and develop confidence and independence. Fluency in English will also be required for this role. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by helping a young learner feel secure, understood, and confident in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a designated student throughout the school day
- Support the student's academic progress and engagement in lessons
- Use Arabic as appropriate to support understanding and communication
- Assist with differentiation of learning activities as directed by the teacher
- Support the student's social, emotional, and behavioural needs
- Help the student develop independence and positive learning behaviours
Essential requirements:
- Fluent in Arabic
- Fluent in English
- Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
