Five Education is an independent education agency specialising in SEND. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people with a range of additional needs in a dedicated and supportive environment.

The Role

You will be working within a special school setting, supporting students with a variety of special educational needs, which may include autism, learning difficulties, complex needs, and communication challenges. Working under the guidance of the class teacher, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop independence, and build confidence in a structured and nurturing environment. The role may involve a combination of 1:1 and small group support, depending on the needs of the students. No prior experience is required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. We are looking for individuals who are patient, proactive, resilient, and confident in supporting students with additional needs and, at times, challenging behaviour.

It is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (term time only), and working hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm. The pay is dependent on experience but up to £92.59 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) for 6.5 hours of work.
