Are you confident, calm under pressure, and passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work in a well-regarded school in Bristol, supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour linked to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or other barriers to learning. This role requires you to show a high level of initiative and reliability. This is a rewarding role for someone who wants to make a difference by helping students regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and re-engage with their education. Role Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Support students to manage behaviour and make positive choices
  • Use de-escalation and restorative approaches
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
  • Support classroom learning and help reinforce behavioural and emotional targets
  • Maintain consistent boundaries and act as a positive role model
