We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a welcoming school setting in Paulton.
The Role
- Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with ASC
- Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting children with SEND/ASC is desirable, but not essential
- Candidates with transferable skills (e.g. care work, youth work, coaching, or personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs) are strongly encouraged to apply
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence required due to limited public transport access
