The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

Five Education is looking for a teacher to teach a special class in a mainstream primary school in Taunton from now until July and again from September 2025. The students in the class all have an EHCP with a range of identified SEMH needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering materials to a small class, ensuring outcomes are met and tailoring activities to meet the individual needs of the children. This will be through a therapeutic and nurturing approach guided by the students' interests and the National Curriculum. You will be working with a specialized team of support staff and multi professions to ensure pupils' needs are fulfilled and strategies are put into place.

The successful candidate will need to be a qualified teacher with significant SEND/ SEMH experience and would be comfortable leading a team of experienced staff.

Essential Criteria
  • QTS
  • Experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks, if required
  • Availability to work five days a week (term time only)

Please note, the roles are term time only and start ASAP until July 22nd. It will then pick up again from September onwards.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
