Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Five Education is seeking compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to join a variety of schools and specialist provisions across Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and rewarding environment where no two days are the same.

Whether you have experience in education, care, or support work - or you're looking to start a new career in SEND - this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEND (including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Help pupils regulate their emotions and manage challenging behaviour
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to support EHCP outcomes
Essential Criteria:
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs
  • Patience, resilience, and adaptability
  • Experience in an educational or care/support role (preferred, but not essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

If you don't have a DBS, we can help you apply for one at a cost of £62.70, refundable after 20 working days with us.
