Five Education is looking for a teacher to work within a secondary SEN school in Street, supporting students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and social and emotional needs. This role will involve teaching across two classes, providing consistency and support to pupils in a specialist setting. You will be required until the end of the summer term, making this a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in SEN education.
The successful candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a good understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching methods. Experience working with SEND is highly desirable, and you should be confident in differentiating learning to meet a range of needs.
Teaching materials and resources are provided; however, the school encourages creativity and flexibility, allowing you to adapt lessons to best support pupil engagement and progress. The ideal candidate may come from a primary, secondary, or FE background and will benefit from ongoing training and support. The school has a supportive staff team, strong leadership, and a positive ethos focused on helping every pupil achieve their potential.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed, with the ability to motivate and engage young people with additional needs.
Salary: £130-£180 per day (dependent on experience)
Duration: Until the end of the summer term

Essential requirements:
- Previous classroom teaching experience
- Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
