Five Education is seeking qualified teachers to join us in supply work in Bristol. Our agency specialises in SEND, and experience or an interest in teaching vulnerable children is desirable. Newly qualified teachers are welcome, but confidence in leading a class is essential. We work with various mainstream and special needs schools across the southwest and offer additional training, including Team Teach and Makaton. We offer rewarding and unique placements with excellent pay rates and the option of temp-to-perm roles. Most roles will start from September and be long-term placements. However, if you are looking to start ASAP, we can also try our best to help you with that.

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 12 months of experience working with children/vulnerable adults
  • QTS status
  • A flexible and resourceful approach
  • Patient and able to relate to the students
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • Two recent child-based references and relevant DBS/Police checks
  • Access to bicycle, car, or near main bus routes
  • Able to work 8.30-3.30, 4-5 days per week term time only

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Supporting the students in the class
  • Using behaviour management techniques to keep students calm and maintain a safe working environment
  • Helping TAs to manage 1:1 and small groups
  • Implementing behaviour management tools in line with the school's policy

Please note, the roles are term time only and start ASAP until July 22nd. It will then pick up again from September onwards.

Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employer's NI. Please note pay rate is for illustration and does include holiday pay.
