The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate qualified teacher to support students at a resource base in east Bristol. This primary school has a high SEND cohort, including children with learning difficulties, ASC, ADHD, and SEMH challenges. Many of the pupils have behavioural needs which require a calm, confident, and consistent approach. This would be a maternity cover role, with the possibility of extension.

This position is best suited to someone who is highly proactive, comfortable with setting boundaries, and able to remain composed in challenging situations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver creative and differentiated classes to small groups of students with high needs
  • Use de-escalation strategies and consistent boundaries to manage challenging behaviour
  • Work closely with other staff and SENCo to implement behaviour plans and support strategies
  • Support pupils during unstructured times such as break and lunch to ensure safety and inclusion
Essential Criteria:
  • QTS and previous experience teaching at this age range
  • Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30-16:00 (term-time only)
  • Right to work in the UK - we are unable to offer sponsorship or accept skilled worker visas
  • Hold a current DBS check on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
