Nursery Practitioner (SEND) in Bath

We’re looking for friendly and reliable Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Somerset, particularly in Taunton and Frome. This is a great opportunity for people who genuinely enjoy working with young children and are happy to get involved wherever needed. Regular work is available, with the potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities.

The role includes:
– Supporting children during play, learning, and daily routines
– Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment
– Assisting with snack and mealtimes, as well as general tidying
We’re looking for someone who:
– Enjoys spending time with young children and babies
– Is caring, patient, and proactive
– Is happy to help out across the setting as needed
– No formal qualifications are required – what matters most is a positive attitude and a genuine interest in early years care
– Driving license and access to a car is preferred but not essential
Essential requirements:
Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one*
*Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
