About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, flexible and committed female Support Workers to join our team in Great Barton, supporting four young women with high support needs in a beautiful four‑bedroom bungalow. The women we support live active, fulfilling lives and enjoy getting out and about — from cinema trips and zoo visits to meals out and community activities. Each person has access to their own manual vehicle, so driving is an essential part of the role, both for commuting and supporting day‑to‑day independence.

Your Day‑to‑Day

  • Providing person‑centred, empowering support, helping each individual live as independently as possible while remaining safe, supported and respected.
  • Supporting with personal care routines in a dignified and sensitive way.
  • Administering insulin (full training provided).
  • Supporting meaningful activities and community outings.
  • Promoting independence, wellbeing and choice.
  • Supporting with household tasks and daily living skills.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships.

No two days are the same — this is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll clearly see the impact of your support.

Shift Patterns

Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:30

Afternoon/Evening shifts: 14:00 – 22:00

Alternate weekends required. Flexibility is key to meet the needs of the service.
