Many of the people we support have complex health needs and may have experienced previous placement breakdowns. As a specialist nursing care home, The Pastures gives us the time, space and resources to stabilise and manage health needs, enabling people to move forward and embrace new opportunities in their lives.

  • Night shifts: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Shift times: 8:00pm – 8:30am
  • Salary: £39,273.74 FTE
  • Start date: ASAP

About the Role

As a Learning Disabilities Nurse, you will deliver a range of clinical interventions, including injections and PEG feeds, while also managing rare and complex health conditions. This role provides excellent opportunities to develop and enhance your clinical skills within a supportive and specialist setting. You will have the autonomy, time and support to deliver high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring clinical excellence and the best possible outcomes for the people we support.

About The Pastures

The Pastures in Hales is one of FitzRoy’s flagship nursing services and is home to 13 adults with varying ages and levels of complexity. The service operates across three bungalows, allowing us to carefully match individuals with others who share similar interests and lifestyles. The people we support are passionate about living life to the fullest—there is never a dull day. Families work closely with the team, creating a warm, busy and creative atmosphere. We work to minimise the barriers health needs can present, enabling people to pursue their goals and dreams. As a nurse at The Pastures, you will play a vital role in empowering people to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
