FitzRoy is pleased to advertise an internal opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to work across multiple services in the Witney area, supporting adults with learning disabilities and assisting service management teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support. This is a leadership role for experienced Support Workers who consistently demonstrate FitzRoy values and are ready to take on additional responsibility within services.

Role Details

  • Salary: £***** per hour
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Working pattern: 5 days per week
  • Shifts: Between 07:00 and 22:00
  • Location: Multiple FitzRoy services across the Witney area
  • Sleep-ins: Essential (paid in line with policy)

About the Role

Alongside carrying out Support Worker duties, the Senior Support Worker works in a supervisory capacity, supporting the Service Manager and Deputy Manager and leading by example to promote best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting person-centred, outcome-focused support
  • Acting as shift lead and first point of contact for staff
  • Supporting staff through guidance, coaching, and supervision
  • Supporting quality assurance, audits, and compliance
  • Overseeing medication management, health
