FitzRoy is launching a brand‑new supported living service based in Bingham, Nottingham to support a single individual with learning disability and behaviours that challenge. The person enjoys football, cooking, quizzes, outdoor adventures and new activities.
As a Support Worker you will be the heart of the service, providing daily support, personal care and enabling the service user to live as independently as possible. You will carry out everyday tasks such as prompting personal care and participate in a range of interests and activities that contribute to a healthy, balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. Experience with challenging behaviour would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:- Support the individual to live a fulfilled and happy life, develop positive relationships and be valued as an equal member of the local community.
- Provide active support and enable goal attainment.
- Coordinate with an on‑site manager to adopt creative approaches.
Salary: £12.40 per hour day shifts / £12.77 per hour night shifts. Time and a half or double time for public holidays. 30 days holiday when you start. Shift patterns to include early and late shifts. Full driving licence required due to the location.
