FitzRoy provides care and support in Coventry for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. We are seeking exceptional new Support Workers who share our values to join our friendly team. Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving licence is essential for some roles as you will be supporting people in community activities.
  • Sponsorship is not available.

Remuneration and Working Hours

  • Day shift: £11.75 per hour weekdays and £12.92 weekends.
  • Full Time and Part Time work available.
  • Overtime: £2.50 per shift.
  • Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
  • Sleep-ins: £50 per night.
  • 30 days holiday when you start.
  • General hours: full-time contract is 37.5 hrs per week, part-time options available.
  • Working on a rota covering various shifts including weekends, which are essential and rotating. When you work a weekend you will have the time off in the week.

Responsibilities

A support worker’s day is varied and rewarding. The role includes:

  • Supporting everyone differently to their individual needs.
  • Be actively involved in a range of people’s interests and activities from shopping to crafts, bowling or swimming.
  • Provide and encourage personal care such as showers and baths.
