FitzRoy are expanding and we are looking for exceptional Support Workers to join the team in Havant and Hayling Island.

You will be supporting 2 individuals with learning disabilities and autism. Being small services you will be able to really get to know the people that live here and support with their everyday needs as well as going out and about taking part in their hobbies and interests.

A full UK, manual driving Licence is preferred as you will be driving our vehicles, partaking in activities in the community.

  • Day shift: £12.40 per hour weekdays and £13.64 weekends.
  • Currently offering + £2.50 for overtime shifts. (over 37.5 hours per week)
  • Full time (37.5 hours).
  • Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
  • Sleep-ins are £50 per night.
  • 30 days holiday when you start.

What does a Support Worker do?

A support workers day is varied and rewarding. You will:

  • Support everyone differently to their individual needs.
  • Getting involved in a range of peoples interests and activities.
  • Support and encourage with personal care, such as showers and baths.

Support Worker Hours

You will work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts. Shifts are 7.5 hours, and a full-time contract is 37.5 hours (5 shifts a week). The earliest start is from 7am and the latest finish is until 10pm.

Weekend working is essential, which will be on a rotating basis and when you work a weekend you will have the time off in the week.
