We are looking for a Salaried GP to join our team for 4-6 sessions a week (days to be agreed upon, but including either Mondays or Fridays). We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking Salaried GP who enjoys the diverse aspects of general practice.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS general practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines. They will support the practice to deliver excellent care and achieve its QOF / PIP targets.

Job responsibilities

We believe that patient-centered care is essential. Our routine clinics have a standard of 15 minutes per appointment and GPs have their own follow-up slots to ensure continuity. Other clinics include Duty Doctor clinics, Care plan clinics for complex patients, Holistic lifestyle clinics, Baby clinics. We are flexible and are happy to support GPs' preference if they have a special interest. We do not offer extended hours or weekend hours clinic, with routine clinics usually running from 9:00 to 17:00. We are compliant with the BMA contract's recommendations including the weekly CPD allowance, which we believe is essential for delivering great safe care.

We are happy for a newly-qualified GP to join our team. Experience with SystmOne and knowledge of the local pathways would be desirable, but not essential.
