Credit Controller

London – Hybrid working (3 days per week in office)

Part-time – 30 hours per week (4 days)

Fitzrovia IT are a highly accredited and well-established managed service provider, and we are currently looking to expand the finance team.

We are looking for someone to join a team of 4 within the finance department, to provide key assistance to the finance controller and team to ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate would be someone that has several years’ experience in credit control, has excellent customer service skills, has the ability to listen and negotiate with customers, is able to build good working relationships with clients and is analytical and has thorough attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting accounts receivable balances for a range of clients including specific high value clients
  • Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity within Twinfield Accounting, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
  • Working closely with a variety of internal teams and personnel
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
