We are looking for a veterinary neurologist/neurosurgeon to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team where collaboration, professionalism, and respect are very important and we are looking for someone who shares these values.
The neurology team currently consists of four surgeons, one resident , three interns, two nurses and two veterinary care assistants.
The successful applicant will ideally be an ECVN/ACVIM neurology diplomate, but we are also very happy to receive applications from candidates who are yet to pass their exams but are board-eligible. You will enjoy working in a busy clinical service with a varied caseload including complex medical and surgical cases. You will be care driven, proactive and highly motivated with excellent communication and clinical skills.
Our facilities include a 1.5T MRI and 160-slice CT operated by an experienced team of radiographers, electrophysiology, an entirely unique advanced custom implant design and manufacturing service and a dedicated team of qualified physiotherapists and hydrotherapists on-site.
You will be part of an integrated patient-focused ortho-neuro team delivering the best compassionate care and surgical excellence.
We offer a 4-day working week with participation required in the department’s weekend rota, working 1:4 weekends. As well as a competitive salary, you will also receive a workplace pension, private medical insurance, life assurance, company sick pay, access to an employee assistance programme, enhanced holiday entitlement, CPD allowance, and a paid study leave budget where required.
