Veterinary Care Assistant (Surgical Technician)
Fitzpatrick Referrals is seeking a candidate to join the surgical technician team. The role involves preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure the surgical kit is efficient and accurate for smooth running of the caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain surgical instruments

Ensure the provision of surgical kit is efficient and accurate

Collaborate with the clinical team to support the surgical caseload

Participate in a 6‐month training programme

Requirements

Dynamic individual with high attention to detail

Ability to work well in a fast‐paced environment

Quick learner with exemplary communication skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Desirable: previous experience working with animals and/or in a theatre environment

Work Schedule
Full‐time, 40‐hour week across a range of shift patterns between 6am and 9pm, including bank holiday rota and a 1:8 weekend rota with days off in lieu.
