Overview
Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our veterinary care assistant team.
Working as part of a team of 7 in total, including veterinary care assistants, nurses and a vet, the night team is responsible for providing excellent care of our inpatients overnight.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent care of inpatients overnight as part of a night team.
- Work within a team of 7 including veterinary care assistants, nurses and a vet.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, use initiative and communicate effectively within a team.
- Handle small animals with confidence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous employment or voluntary work experience with small animals is essential.
- Previous experience with night work and an animal management certificate or similar is preferred.
- A hard-working, dedicated approach to care and welfare of patients.
Job Details
- One full-time role working 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Monday to Sunday).
- Shifts are 11 hours (8:30pmβ7:30am).
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary of Β£13.01 per hour.
