Receptionist
Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a new receptionist to expand our well‑established team and provide the personal touch and high standards of care to our clients, their families, vets and colleagues at our busy specialist veterinary orthopaedics, neurology and dental hospital near Godalming in Surrey.
Location: Halfway Lane, Eashing, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 2QQ, GB. Department: Reception.
Key qualities: Excellent communicator, proactive and resourceful, efficient, confident and empathetic, capable of managing a busy reception desk.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients and their families.
- Answer a high volume of telephone calls.
- Manage busy appointment diaries and book appointments.
- Liaise with referring vets and other referral centres.
- Deal with email enquiries.
- Handle cash transactions.
- Update and maintain client records.
- Provide support to the triage department.
This is a full‑time role working a 40‑hour week in line with the company rota; the schedule includes a 1:4 weekend rota (Saturday 8.30 am–4.30 pm and Sunday 10.30 am–4.30 pm) with days off in lieu.
