Location: Fitzpatrick Referrals, Halfway Lane, Eashing, Godalming, Surrey GU7 2QQ, UK.

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic veterinary surgeons to join our neurology internship programme with a start date around April/May 2026. The programme lasts 12 months and offers comprehensive training in clinical neurology, neurosurgery, electrodiagnostics, neuroimaging, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuropathology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist neurology clinicians with daily patient care, consultations, diagnostic procedures, and neurosurgeries.
  • Participate in rehabilitation work with physiotherapists and hydrotherapists.
  • Engage in weekly seminars and journal clubs, and support the preparation and publication of scientific research.

Qualifications:

  • Current veterinary surgeon with a completed one‑year general/rotating internship or at least two years of general small‑animal practice.
  • Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
  • Existing right to work in the UK or eligible to obtain the right to work without a Skilled Worker Visa.
  • Dedicated to high standards of veterinary medicine, excellent communication, exceptional organisational skills, and ability to thrive in a 24/7 team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: £42,240 for the year.
  • Additional benefits include RCVS registration, VDS membership, funded CPD, pension scheme, employee assistance programme, and off‑site shared accommodation.
