We are looking to recruit a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible at Fitzmaurice Primary School.

The role is fixed term and will support a child both academically and emotionally.

We place a high value on children's emotional well-being and we are looking for people who share our vision that children need to be emotionally happy to be able to achieve highly.

We work therapeutically with our children in enabling them to achieve this.

The successful candidate will be working 12.5 hours per week.

  • Able to make learning fun and accessible to children.
  • Committed to the school family and ethos and willing to contribute to the life of the school.
  • Flexible and adaptable, and open to new ideas and ways of working.
  • A good communicator and team player.
  • Happy to develop their own skills and knowledge, even if experienced.
