Location: This is a hybrid role where you’ll be based from home with some travel for meetings. Candidates must be based in the South East or South West of England.
The role involves leading and delivering high-quality recruitment and talent work across a diverse client base. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role where you’ll balance leading a small team with delivering recruitment yourself. You’ll stay close to the detail, working on complex and often senior hires, while ensuring everything we do is structured, effective and delivers real impact for clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a small team of Resourcing and Talent Specialists, providing coaching, support and clear expectations.
- Own end-to-end recruitment delivery across multiple clients, ensuring campaigns are well run, efficient and deliver strong outcomes.
- Lead complex and senior hiring, including C‑suite roles, providing confidence and quality at critical points.
- Manage team capacity and workload, ensuring delivery is balanced, sustainable and commercially effective.
- Contribute to commercial performance—through billable delivery, proposals and new opportunities.
- Design practical talent and workforce plans, helping clients move to more proactive hiring approaches.
- Review and improve clients’ recruitment processes to make them simpler, fairer and more effective.
- Embed inclusive hiring practices and strong candidate experience.
- Own and optimise the use of our ATS (Pinpoint), ensuring it is used effectively across the team.
- Work closely with colleagues across Fitzgerald to deliver a seamless, high‑quality client experience.
About you:
- Strong experience delivering end-to-end recruitment, either in‑house or within a consultancy environment.
- Experience working on complex or senior hires, ideally including executive-level roles.
- Confidence in advising on recruitment strategy and improving hiring processes.
- Good understanding of workforce planning and longer-term talent strategy.
- Knowledge of employment law, right to work and global mobility in recruitment context.
- Experience creating and facilitating assessment approaches.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- A structured, organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
