What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the person who makes sure every client feels genuinely cared for and supported — from their first conversation with us right through their ongoing partnership.
As a Senior Client Engagement Specialist you’ll use your HR knowledge and people insight to really understand each client’s challenges, connect them with the right Fitzgerald solutions, and make sure their experience with us is consistently excellent.
You’ll manage relationships across the full client journey — from drafting proposals and onboarding new clients to managing check-ins and service reviews that strengthen trust and help us continuously improve.
Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day might include:
- Meeting with potential new clients to understand their needs, explore their challenges, and draft thoughtful proposals that show how we can help solve their people problems.
- Leading a smooth, consistent onboarding process that sets the tone for a brilliant partnership.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients — building trust, listening closely, and ensuring every interaction feels personal and proactive.
- Working with colleagues across Fitzgerald to map client needs, identify solutions, and bring the right specialists into the conversation.
- Managing the client care process — from feedback gathering to service reviews — to ensure we’re always raising the bar in how we support our clients.
- Keeping CRM data, follow-ups, and engagement notes accurate and up to date so nothing slips through the gaps.
- Tracking trends and insights from client feedback, helping us spot opportunities to improve and grow.
It’s a role that combines relationship management, coordination, and continuous improvement — ideal for someone who loves people, process, and problem-solving in equal measure.
About you
You might be an HR professional ready for a new challenge — one that lets you use your people expertise in a broader, more strategic way.
You’ll be great at building relationships, connecting dots, and creating structure. You’ll take real pride in helping clients feel supported and in control.
You’ll need to be:
- Experienced in a client-facing or stakeholder-focused HR role (for example, HR Business Partner, HR Consultant, or other senior HR role).
- Commercially aware — able to link people solutions to business goals and outcomes.
- A clear, confident communicator who listens carefully and builds trust quickly.
- Structured and process-driven — enjoys bringing order and consistency to how things run.
- Empathetic and proactive — calm under pressure and always focused on finding the right solution.
- Organised and detail-oriented — keeps things on track and takes pride in delivering quality work.
- Comfortable using CRM and digital systems to manage client information and activity.
- Happy to travel when needed and hold a full UK driving licence.
Experience in an HR consultancy, or familiarity with proposals and client onboarding processes, would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
