What you’ll be doing
As our Digital Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a big role in helping the right people find Fitzgerald, understand what we do and choose to work with us. You’ll lead our paid and organic digital marketing activity, turning our wider business and marketing strategy into a clear day-to-day digital plan. Your focus will be on driving enquiries, engagement, acquisition and brand awareness, whilst making sure our digital channels deliver real, measurable return.
This is a hands-on role with a big focus on implementation and execution. You’ll be our first dedicated performance marketing hire, which means you’ll have real ownership and influence over how we approach digital marketing as we grow.
This means you’ll:
- Lead Fitzgerald’s performance marketing activity across paid and organic channels, with full ownership of execution and results.
- Design and deliver digital marketing campaigns that support our wider commercial goals and reach the right B2B audiences.
- Translate strategy into action, building and running a clear, effective day-to-day digital marketing plan.
- Optimise channel mix, budgets and performance, focusing on what delivers the biggest impact and ROI.
- Drive organic traffic and lead generation through focused SEO and GEO.
- Take ownership of website performance and technical health, including SEO hygiene, site audits, crawlability, indexing, redirects, links and page speed.
- Build and publish website pages and blog posts using provided content, making sure pages are well structured, optimised and conversion-focused.
- Develop new online partnerships that generate new business leads, from initial setup through to testing and proving value.
- Analyse performance data to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can keep improving.
- Work closely with the Head of Communications to keep digital activity joined-up and aligned.
- Collaborate with external specialists and mentors to make sure we’re always working smart and raising the bar.
About you
You’re an experienced digital marketer who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing your work make a big difference. You’re comfortable owning paid and organic activity end to end, and you enjoy balancing strategy with hands-on delivery. You’re curious and commercially minded. You like testing ideas, learning quickly and focusing your energy on what delivers the biggest impact. You care about quality and detail, but you’re also pragmatic and know when it’s time to move fast.
You’ll bring:
- Significant experience in a similar digital marketing or performance marketing role.
- Solid experience leading paid and organic digital marketing activity in a growth-stage, B2B environment.
- Strong knowledge across performance marketing, SEO and digital best practice, including website optimisation and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Confidence working with data and digital tools (e.g. analytics, ad platforms, SEO tools) to understand performance and improve results.
- Experience managing digital media budgets and prioritising spend based on ROI.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to explain digital insight clearly to different audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple channels, campaigns and priorities.
- A genuine interest in the HR and people space and how Fitzgerald shows up in the market.
It’s a bonus (but not essential) if you’ve worked in or alongside professional services, HR or people-focused businesses, or if you’ve supported insight-led content, partnerships or thought leadership activity.
The Perks
We’re probably biased, but we think this role is exciting, interesting, fun, challenging, full of growth opportunities… we could go on. All that aside, we also offer:
- Competitive salary (circa ÂŁ55,000 per annum FTE).
- 25 days holiday when you start employment with us, 27 days after a year of service and 29 days after two years’ service.
